# When should I take out Travel Insurance?

You should take out adequate travel insurance from the point of booking. It is vital this policy covers you for at least the value of your holiday, your destination, pre existing medical conditions, baggage/flight delays and any activities you intend to participate in whilst you are on your holiday. You may need to claim from your travel insurance policy if you need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances prior to travel.
